Actress Janine Chang Invites You to Replace Prejudice with Love to Accept Children with Rare Diseases

The actress Janine Chang, widely popular on three sides across the Taiwan Strait via her television series "The Empress of China," did not forget to care about the children with rare diseases (RD) in Taiwan despite her full schedule. On her first day back in Taiwan, she spent a whole day helping TFRD shoot a series of charity videos for free, hoping to make more people better aware of RD.

Janine said she was very happy when she first received the invitation from TFRD. "I like it very much, it's very emotional,” exclaimed she, when she received the ad script. She was keen to deliver the touching messages in the script to the audience. This was her first time working with TFRD. Knowing that she would spend a whole day with many children on site, she offered puffs, hoping to bring herself closer to the children right after they met, and it worked. When shooting the chase scene between her and the children, Janine did her best to do it, which shows her affinity. She also acted as a babysitter during the filming, grabbing a towel and wiping the children's drool herself. “Because of the disease, some children with RD have a different appearance or limbs from others, which is like homework in life to be finished,” said Janine. Having spent the whole day together, the children were all very happy with Janine's patience and love. When it was over, they all hugged each other and said goodbye.

Janine mentioned that misunderstanding and prejudice occur because of not understanding. When we are willing to move the chairs of prejudice in our hearts away and provide support and accompanying, we can make the slogan "move prejudice away and make room in our hearts for our children" not just a slogan, but an action !
