TFRD Music Talent Class of Taipei Office
The TFRD Music Talent Class, launched in 2019, aims to stimulate children's interest in music through diverse rhythms and tones. By incorporating games, melodies, and rhythms, children can develop an appreciation for music and grasp basic music theory, creating a joyful and enriching childhood experience. We hope that the children will uncover their potential, build confidence, and have fun every Saturday!
TFRD Taiko Drumming Class
The sound of the drums is rumbling. As a percussion instrument with a long history, taiko drums are indispensable to all kinds of festivals and traditional events in Japan, demonstrating a powerful combination of strength and beauty, making it the ideal choice for openings and welcoming guests. From 2012 to 2016, the TFRD collaborated with the Chinese Association for the Development of Rhythmic Physical Education (CADPE) to organize summer drumming classes for five consecutive years, led by the Drum Art Performance Troupe. In 2022, TFRD relaunched the "TFRD Taiko Drumming Class." We encourage children to pick up the drumsticks and play with remarkable self-confidence. TFRD also believes that children with rare diseases can achieve many things once thought impossible.
"They love music a lot, but it's hard for them to keep up with the regular classes," said many parents of children with rare diseases. The conditions of rare diseases are diverse and complex. Parents want to enroll their children in talent programs, but it is difficult to find one that fits the patient's physical condition. Therefore, TFRD strives to provide rare disease-friendly programs in the hope of helping patients' lives to become more dynamic.
