Psychological Support
A sound and resilient mind is like a power plant, continuously generating the energy that patients and their families need to face challenges and rise again after setbacks. Since 2006, TFRD has implemented a “Psychological Support Program,” offering a variety of individual counseling services and group-based activities. These include counseling sessions, book clubs, horticulture classes, personal growth groups, and various wellness workshops. Through diverse approaches and mediums, we accompany families affected by rare diseases as they navigate different stages of life.
In 2025 alone, the program provided 850 instances of psychological counseling services and recorded 944 participations in mind group activities, totaling 1,794 service attendances.
