Spreading Love Through Music

TFRD held its “2025 Gratitude Concert” at the Fuhua International Cultural Center on the evening of November 29. The event united ten diverse performing groups, including rare disease patients and indigenous music schools from remote regions. With over a hundred performers sharing the stage, the concert delivered a powerful message of love, courage, and hope through the universal language of music.

This concert opened with a powerful performance by the Rare Rhythm Taiko Drum Group, whose thunderous beats showcased the confidence and team spirit the children have fostered through music.

The Heavenly Female Chorus of TFRD's Taipei office lifted their voices in clear and resolute song, expressing gratitude for life. Both the Pingtung Taiwu Elementary School Folk Song Ensemble and the Kaohsiung Xingzhong Elementary School Bugula Children's Art Troupe conveyed cultural heritage and the vitality of children from indigenous communities through traditional songs and rhythms. TFRD's Celestial Children's Chorus from the Taipei Office, the Celestial Chorus from the Taichung Office, and the Music Talent Class channeled the power of companionship and support through their childlike innocence and harmonious unity.

The Minoc Band, formed by young people living with rare diseases, shared their belief in rising above illness through the power of music. The Rare Daddy Chorus touched the audience with their sincere and moving performance. Bringing the event to a close, the Taipei Office’s Heavenly Melody Chorus, established 20 years ago, delivered a deeply inspiring performance. The event concluded with all performers joining together for a grand rendition of “I Have a Dream,” sending messages of hope and heartfelt blessings to everyone in attendance.

TFRD sincerely appreciates the exclusive sponsorship of Golden Insurance Brokers. Their tangible support for rare disease families helps keep love and music flowing, creating a uniquely moving symphony.
