25th Anniversary Concert: Feel The Power of Life

TFRD celebrated its 25th anniversary with a concert on the evening of December 29. The event, titled "Heavenly Melody Chorus: Rare Harmony, Joyful Resonance," was held at the CPC Corporation National Hall. Featuring performances by eight music classes comprising a total of 200 participants, the concert also welcomed the CPC Chorus, whose participation added a harmonious finale to the Foundation’s activities in 2024.

The concert kicked off with a performance by the Taiko Drumming Class of TFRD, led by teacher Bai. The rhythmic and powerful drumbeats showcased their stage presence and charm. Taiko drums are not just instruments; they have a unique charm that can spread joy. This performance features a new song, 'Mountain Mist,' which we hope will bring everyone a fresh experience. Led by teacher Liang Hua-jen, the "TFRD Kaohsiung Heavenly Melody Chorus" performed the Bunun tribe's "Clapping Song" and interacted enthusiastically with the audience, concluding the performance with a joyful rendition of "Happy New Year."

The chorus has become a second home for its dedicated members—patients who, through music, have found renewed confidence and a profound sense of accomplishment. Together, they have transcended the limitations imposed by their illnesses, gaining extensive performance experience along the way. As the concert drew to a close, all the performers invited the audience to join them in singing "A Heart Full of Gratitude," creating a heartfelt and uplifting atmosphere to warmly welcome the arrival of 2025.
