Hearing 500 Children's Christmas Wishes
"Hearing Children's Christmas Wishes" Satisfying 500 All Smiles Children with Rare Diseases
TFRD is very grateful to be the recipient of the "Hearing Children's Christmas Wishes" charity project supported by LawbrokerLove Social Welfare Foundation (LSWF). All the 500 Christmas gifts were delivered to the children with rare diseases. We thank Santa Claus for fulfilling the children's wishes, staying with them, and leaving them with warm memories.
"Because I can't talk, the tablet helps me talk, but my old tablet is broken,” said 11-year-old Xiao-Shin, who was diagnosed with a chromosomal mutation disorder, one of the only four cases in the world. He is unable to move or speak, but he is actively involved in hydrotherapy and has learned how to do backstroke. He is also on a ball team of physically challenged children.
5-year-old Ye-Ye is a child with achondroplasia. Because of her height limitation, a standard desk or chair doesn’t fit her. She hopes to have a desk and a chair which are both adjustable. The gift has just been delivered to Ye-Ye's home. Wow! It was three big heavy boxes. The insides of the boxes were a pink desk board, a chair pad, a drawer, and other accessories respectively. After a lot of hard work, a new and pretty desk with appropriate height appeared. Ye-Ye happily put her most favorite color pencils, the book she was reading, and Barbie's house on the new desk. Thanks to Santa Claus. Ye-Ye has a little world to call her own!
Once again, we would like to extend our thanks to LSWF for helping collect 500 Christmas gifts for the children. Santa Claus is full of love and affection in finding the right gifts for the children.
