Rare 20 - LOVE WITH LIFE Music Concert - All Stars Sing for Public Welfare

About half of a year ago, The Chief Executive Officer of KEDP trust, Tim Lin called and said that with the help of other charity partners, he borrowed the last available day of Taipei International Convention Center (TICC), June 9, 2019. Taiwan Foundation of Rare Disorders (TFRD) happened to be established on June 6 twenty years ago. This seemed like a sign that this is the best time for us to express gratitude to the society by holding the concert this day.

We called help from Paula Ma, a professional musician with over 30 years of experience. With her good relationship in the music field, famous singers including Mon-ling Wang, Christine Fan, Wan-fang, Roger Yang, Allen Chao, as well as the host of the event, Bowie Tseng, all performed with the choir on stage.

This grand music concert couldn’t present perfectly without charities’ help. We most appreciate the chairman of Chenco Holdings in the U.S., Derek Chen, who is also Ms. Ma’s husband. He gave us a hand by personally joining the preparation of this music concert for many times. He also shared his experience in joining non-government organization (NGO) with us.

"LOVE WITH LIFE” Music Concert started at 7 PM on June 9. Almost 3000 audience attended the concert. Paula and Seven Chen, patient of rare disease, sang Dream Field together to start the concert. Christine, one of the singers who attended the concert, not only sang Initial Dream, but also performed ‘Somewhere over the Rainbow’ with Northern Beauties Chorus. Child-Like TFRD Music Class brought suite. One-Fang and Duncan-Wei sang New Endless Love together. Roger Yang and Southern Small Group sang ‘I Believe’. Mon-ling Wang, Allen Chao and Rare Dad sang ‘Little Grass’. All the performances resonate with audience. Three different rare groups went on stage one after another and they all had their own features. Entertainers and patients sang ‘Tomorrow Will Be Better’ and ended the music concert perfectly. Happy 20th anniversary to Taiwan Foundation for Rare Disorders.
