2024 Northern Region Summer Volunteer Day

The 2024 Northern Region Summer Volunteer Day brought together eight committed volunteers and our team for a meaningful day of sharing and connection. It was a great opportunity to reflect on our service, exchange experiences, and recharge with positive energy.

A highlight of the event was a fun and engaging trivia game filled with surprising facts and common misconceptions about rare disorders. As the questions progressed, the discussion deepened—opening up space for volunteers to share personal insights and foster greater understanding among the group.

Volunteers also reflected on their service from the past six months and shared thoughts on the feedback they had received. These open conversations helped build stronger bonds and sparked thoughtful dialogue.
To close the day, everyone raised a toast to celebrate the companionship, dedication, and shared purpose of our volunteer community. It was a heartfelt ending to a meaningful day.

As of mid-year, Northern Region volunteers have contributed over 800 hours of service. We look forward to welcoming even more caring individuals into our activities—building a stronger, more connected community in support of families affected by rare diseases.
