Taichung Volunteers Received Honor

The Taichung office offers various activities and service programs for patients with rare diseases, relying on the support and assistance of volunteers. 

Currently, the Taichung Volunteer Team consists of 60 members, comprising young and middle-aged individuals from various professions as well as family members of rare disease patients. The Taichung office hosts numerous activities for patients, and volunteers are always present at both indoor and outdoor events. Regardless of the difficulty of the activities, volunteers are always eager to sign up and help out, which is really touching.

At the end of 2023, the Taichung Volunteer Team was honored with the Taichung City Health Bureau's 2023 Outstanding Team Award. This honor is dedicated to every volunteer who has helped patients with rare diseases. Their warm care and selfless dedication is the strongest support for families with rare diseases and the best partners for the TFRD team.
