A Social Event For Retinoblastoma Patients

A social event for retinoblastoma patients took place on July 15 at the Rare Disease Welfare Center, with a total of 21 patients and their families in attendance.

Initially, the center staff introduced TFRD to the participants and guided them to familiarize themselves with the center's facilities. The facilities in Snoezelen Room and Sensory Integration Classroom amazed the patients with variations and stimulations involving sound, touch, smell, and light.

In the afternoon, we invited the Toy Museum team to interact with us through team building games. Finally, Rare Craftsmen helped us to make a Decoupage by DIY, and everyone created their own unique bags. For our next gathering, we aspire to incorporate not only engaging activities but also include informative medical lectures. Furthermore, we hope for increased participation from more individuals in the upcoming event.
