The 4th Challenger Charity Baseball Game

The 4th Little League Challenger Charity Baseball Game for physically challenged children was held at the Taoyuan Fame Hall Garden Hotel Baseball Field. The RD young warriors took on their respective roles, with someone serving as a representative to swear an oath, someone taking the lead in singing the national anthem, and someone performing the kickoff ceremony. On top of that, the RD team participated in the Home Run Derby, and scored great runs. Each of the young warriors did a wonderful job on the field!

This year, thirteen new players were recruited into the RD Warriors team, consisting of 34 players with 22 different types of diseases. Under the guidance of Coach Zhu Guanglin and Referee Meng Xiangyuan, who are also patients with rare diseases, the kids have been practicing for 8 months. With their hard work and spirit of not giving up, they have played a marvelous game. Particularly, to complete a game, it is necessary for the RD players and their buddies (young volunteers) to support each other. The buddies encourage the young RD players to overcome their physical and mental barriers. They are indispensable helpers for the RD young warriors.
