TFRD Music Talent Class Offers Blessings

TFRD Music Talent Class was invited to perform at the Christmas tree lighting ceremony at Grand Hyatt Taipei on November 19. Ms. Serena Wu, the founder of TFRD, was the guest of honor and lit up the Christmas tree accompanied by the energetic singing from the children patients.

Under the guidance of Ms. Wang Pei-ling, the children practiced every weekend and built up their concepts about music and music theory through games, rhythms and beats to create a happy childhood with music.

On the day of the event, the children presented three songs. Under the 10-meter tall Christmas tree, the children sang vigorously along with hand gestures, dance movements and small instruments. Because of the disease, they face more challenges in their growth process than most other healthy children. But each child on the stage shone as brightly as the Christmas tree behind them, and their courage is even higher than the Christmas tree. Many thanks again to Grand Hyatt Taipei for opening the ears of more people to "hear" about rare diseases and know more about them.
