Relieve Stress and Meditation Courses
Taichung City Branch Office has held a series of psychological counseling courses since 2010. This year, we tried to extend the benefits in the form of a "stress relieve meditation group". This course was held on March 21 (Sat), a total of 13 patients and their families attended.
The lecturer Rong-Rong Li, a clinical psychologist, reminded members to pay attention to their physical and mental conditions at all times. She then explained the symptoms of stress, and the causes of these symptoms needed to be found first. In addition, after taking medicine, you must follow doctor's instructions, and must not stop the medicine without permission, also returned to the clinic on time. Back to the meditation course, Li suggested turning off the lights and playing the "Relax" music compiled by the Dong’s Foundation which allowed the members to follow the introduction to relax.
After the activity, Xiao Chun, who was been anxious for a long-time, shared that she looks for sleepy music on YouTube back home, along with the lessons she learned, she could finally feel calm, and deeply felt that the course helped her a lot. Although during the period of COVID-19 pandemic, members still ruled out all and eliminate all difficulties to join this activity, and the feedback from the activity was amazing. Some members even wanted to learn more relaxing lesson from lecturers in the future!
