Shoppihg Fun At PX Mart On Mother’s Day

On May 5, Taiwan Environmental Protection Association (TEPA) and New Taipei City Councilor Mrs. Lee Weng Yue-e co-organized an event called the Warm Mother's Day - Shopping Fun With Love and Companionship. Forty families with the disabled living in Sanchong and Luzhou, among them 20 families with rare diseases, were invited. Each family was presented with a gift voucher of NT$1,000 to buy household necessities at the PX Mart’s Chung Yang Branch in Luzhou. The PX Mart and the Pxmart Pei Hua Dream Social Welfare Foundation (PHDSWF) also prepared bouquets and cakes to pay their tributes to these indefatigable mothers!

The PX Mart’s 20 branch managers also served as volunteers to help with the shopping and checkout process. PHDSWF also gave each mother an eco-friendly shopping bag. While each bag was filled with items they picked up, they also brought full load of love home.

Thank you to Councilor Lee Weng, TEPA, PX Mart, and PHDSWF for continuing to care for the underprivileged children over the years and for making mothers' memories memorable on Mother's Day this year.
