FAP Patient Group was Established！

On October 23, FAP family meetup was held at the Mayor's residence. A total of 33 families from all over Taiwan as well as their families joined the event. The event was was simultaneously conducted in physical and video format.

Dr. Lin Kung-Ping from the Taipei Veterans General Hospital was invited to give a detailed explanation of the causes, incidence and disease status of FAP. Through the presentation, patients could be better prepared for the possible occurrence of the disease in the future. In the second session, Dr. Zhao Chi-Chiu from NTU Hospital introduced the current treatment options for FAP, informing the attendees about the development of foreign treatments, the drugs currently available in Taiwan, and how to relieve the existing symptoms.

Through this sharing and exchange, the patients sincerely cheered each other up. At the end of the meetup, the patients elected the president and the liaison persons for the North and Central regions. The "FAP Patient Group" was formally established and they will connect with each other via the LINE group.
