Lions Paint for Love with TFRD Painting Class

In response to the call of Long-shan Lions Club President Peng Zheng-qiang, the presidents of the Feng-de, Tong-xin, Nan-jing, Hua-shan, Jin-guo, and Qiao-yun Lions Clubs, as well as Zou Yu-lu, head of the Lions Clubs International District 303 A2, attended the annual TFRD Painting Exhibition at the National Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall on October 16, 2021. On that day, Teacher Wang from the Painting Class led 13 patients with rare diseases (RD), young and adult, to create their own unique Ong Zai Biao (a kind of cardboard for children to play with in Taiwan) and door hangers.

The Lions had fun with RD patients and donated a total of NT$134,000, which will be used for the Painting Class. We believe that by creating art, more patients and their families will be encouraged to resume their social interaction and find solace in painting.
