President of TFRD, Dr. Yuan-Tsong Chen, had spent 15 years leading the team of Academia Sinica in studying Pompe Disease. After years of dedication, Dr. Chen and the team had successfully developed the first drug in the world for Pompe Disease, which had also been approved by the FDA of U.S.A.
